Jerome Opoku picks centre back as favourite position

Jerome Opoku has picked central defense as his preferred and favourite position in his playing career

The versatile defender, can play along all the defensive positions at the back line but has favored playing as a centre back the most

The on loan Fulham FC star for Accrington Stanley has been deployed at the left hand side of defense his making his move to the club in the summer

Speaking exclusively to ghanafootballnews on his favourite position, the 21 year old defender said

” It is difficult to choose as I have enjoyed playing central and wide as a defender but I favor playing as a central defender the most”

“Coming to Accrington Stanley, I was optimistic of been played central in defense but since I came in, I have been deployed as a left back and it is something am happy with and enjoying as well ” he added

” Playing wide give you the opportunity to drive forward and chip in some couple of assist but when you play central it is always a difficult thing to do ” he ended

Jerome Opoku has made 16 appearances for Accrington Stanley in the league with 3 assists to his name as well in the season so far
