The Wa based division two side met head-on and whip out their opponent at their own backyard to progress to the next stage of the competition

In a fixture where the odds were against the inexperienced side, an early first half masterclass strike from attacker Garry Philip proved decisive at the end of regulation time

The young side under the guidance of their head coach John Kanduma who had to give instructions from the stands proved too tough a knot to crack by the opponent with some resolute defending at their back line throughout the game

The game is the first competitive victory for the head coach since taking over the side ahead of the new football season

Wa Power Sporting Club now join Wa Suntaa Sporting Club and Maana FC as clubs to have advanced to the next stage of the competition following their respective victories
