Speaker of Parliament excute promise to Division One Clubs in Upper West Region

Rtd Hon. Speaker Alban Bagbin today fulfilled his promise to Access Bank Division One League Club in the Upper West Region ahead of the new football season

The three DOL clubs representing the region in the national division one league took delivery of two set of jerseys and five footballs each from the Speaker of Parliament

The short ceremony was held at the Regional Football Association secretariat on Wednesday 26th July 2023 where the items were handed over to representatives of the various clubs

Issahaku Awudu spoke on behalf of the Speaker of Parliament and assured all the Speaker is willing to do more for clubs in the region and support them going forward

RFA chairman Alhaji Yahaya Biyad praised the Speaker for his benevolent gesture towards the clubs and appealed for more to help them sustain their status in the league

CEO of Maana FC Abdul Atow thanked the Speaker of Parliament on behalf of the three clubs in the region and also just like Oliver Twist requested for more support for the clubs going forward
