Phoenix Rising FC Announces The Departure Of Veteran Skipper Solomon Asante

USL Championship side Phoenix Rising Football Club have announced the departure of club captain Solomon Asante ahead of the new season

The veteran Ghanaian international is leaving the club after spending the last four seasons with the former USL champions

Solomon Asante made 114 appearances in all competitions for Phoenix Rising FC throughout his stay with the club

He has had a goal contribution of 97 in all competitions for the club with 54 goals and 43 assists in total throughout his four year stay with the club

Solomon Asante won the USL Championship title with the side as well as a golden boot award in the 2019 USL Championship season

The former Berekum Chelsea winger made history to become the first ever player to win back to back MVP award in the USL Championship history
