A total of 12 goals contribution in 16 matches in his first season with Wa Power SC comes with a lot of hard work and determination.
Among Mabrouk’s 6 goals are match defining strikes against Sombo Freedom Stars, Discipline Youth, and the ultimate against Golden FC 2 minutes into 7 minutes added time in Saturday’s 2-1 victory.
He also found the equalizer in MatchDay 1 of the middle league against former Club Wa United, as Wa Power SC fought back to a 3-1 victory to begin the competition on a high.
A total of 6 Assists puts Mabrouk just behind Teammate Garry Philip of Wa Power SC in the ranks for the Best Playmakers in the 2022/2023 UWRFA Division II League season.
Notable of Mabrouk’s assists was the killer instinct that gave Seidu Musah the opener in the game against Wa FC on MatchDay 3 of the middle League, where he split a threaded pass in between the Goalkeeper and defense to unsettle their back line.
With his vast experience in the Top level of Division II league Football in the last 3 seasons, much will be expected of Mohammed Mabrouk in next season’s Division One League as Wa Power SC indulge into a a heavier task in Ghana’s 2nd tier Football competition.
