Karela United announce the signing of Adams Mahama from Wa Power SC

The Ghana Premier League side in their quest for survival fight in Ghana’s Top flight have augmented their squad with energetic and talented players for the second round of the campaign.

19 years old Adams Mahama comes with a youthful exuberance to add up to the experience list of new signings for the Tamale based Club who sit in the Relegation Zone with 17 points from 17 games, occupying the 16th position.

Adams will be hoping to break into the Karela United setup in quick fashion like he did at the beginning of the season with his previous Club Wa Power SC, which caught the attention of Coach Abubakar Damba and his entourage.

The lanky Center back made 11 competitive appearances in all competitions during his spell with the ACCESS BANK DIVISION ONE side, with 8 of them coming in the league and 3 in the MTN FA Cup, including a 90 minutes spectacular display against RTU.

Karela play host to Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup Round 16 at the Tamale Stadium, before hosting Legon Cities a fortnight later for the resumption of the League.
