Joseph Paintsil nets brace in 8-goal thriller defeat to Rizespor

Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil scored his first two goals for MKE Ankaragucu in the Turkish SuperLig round 5 away to Rizespor.

The Ghanaian found the games’ opener in the 6th minute, doubled the lead 10 minutes later on the 16th minute mark as his side led the game 3-2 at the interval.

Ankaragucu became victims of circumstances in the game as they were down to 10-men just before half time, leading to Paintsil being sacrificed after the break.

Rizespor were then awarded two penalties in the space of seven minutes, both converted by former Chelsea and French striker Loic Remy, who ended up with a hat-trick.

MKE Ankaragucu lost the game 5-3 , the game also featured Ghana midfielder Godfred Donsah for Rizespor, he also featured in the first 45 minutes.
