Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Abdul Rafiu Yakubu has undergone a successful knee surgery

The promising goalkeeper has been battling with a troubling knee injury which has made him inactive throughout the season

Abdul Rafiu Yakubu joined the premier league champions elect from Wa Suntaa Sporting Club but has been sidelined following the injury

He has had a successful surgery to correct the problem two weeks ago and he is recuperating very well

He is expected to make a return to action next season as his rehabilitation program will continue through the end of the season
