Yakubu Nuhu emerges top scoring Defender after Round 1 in UWR D2L

The Captain for Power SC has 3 goals in 7 matches in the league this season after playing every single minute of action.

Yakubu Nuhu had his first goal of the season on MatchDay 1 against Kpongu Tanga FC as he tapped in a cross from Fuseini Ganiu to make it 2-0 in a 3-0 victory.

He then scored twice from the penalty spot in the last two games of Round 1 against Biyad 77 Stars and Ziko Babies respectively.

The experienced center-back also orchestrated a back line that conceded just 3 times in 7 matches so far.
