WAFU CUP: Three Ghanaian Players Make 2019 ESPN WAFU Cup Best XI
Three Black Stars ‘B’ players namely Fatawu Mohammed, Joseph Esso and forward Shafiu Mumuni have all been included in the Best XI of the Just ended ESPN WAFU tournament in Senegal.
Shafiu leads the attack as Fatawu Mohammed and Joseph Esso plays in defends and midfield respectively.
Ghana lost to the host nation Senegal on penalty shootouts after a one all draw in extra time.
The tournament also saw Shafiu Mumuni winning the Golden Boot award as the top scorer and coach Maxwell Konadu crowned as the Best Coach.
