WAFU 2019: Head coach Maxwell Konadu names 21 man squad ahead of title defence in Senegal
Head coach of Black Stars ‘B’ has named a 21 man squad for the defence of the title in upcoming WAFU Championship in Senegal set to start on Saturday, 28th September, 2019
Ghana head to the championship as the most successful side after winning the title on two occasions in 2013 as well as last year when Ghana hosted the competition
Evelen players from Asante Kotoko and AshantiGold SC namely Felix Annan, Habib Mohammed, Patrick Yeboah, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Augustine Okrah, Justice Blay,Richard Arthur,James Akaminko, Latif Anabila, Shafiu Mumuni and Appiah McCarthy are expected to join the team in Senegal after their club commitments in the Caf Champions league and Caf Confederation cup respectively
The squad will leave Ghana for Senegal on Sunday and will face Gambia their first match of the tournament on Tuesday
