WAFA announce Spanish Coach acquisition for 2021/2022 GPL season

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Guillermo Hamdan Zaragoza as head coach of the first team.

Guille will be with us for the entirety of the 2021/22 season. We wish you every success.” WAFA wrote on their social media account.

Zaragoza holds UEFA PRO coaching certificate.

Guille has lived in five countries USA, Mexico, Italy, Qatar and Spain.

He speaks five languages- English, Italian, Spanish, French and Arabic .

Guille 🗣: “WAFA is a very prestigious institution that has been very successful in the development of players in West Africa.

I hope that I can come in and contribute to the work that has been done for over 20 years.”

Guille 🗣: “I will mainly be working with the senior side so I will do my best to help them in this last phase of development.”
