Wa Power SC returns to winning ways in final Group C fixture

The Match day six encounter saw the top two teams in Group ‘C’ clash at the Wa Technical University Park on Friday afternoon to determine the winner of the group.

Wa Power SC succeeded in their quest to revenge against Ziko Babies FC in a game they totally dominated, Substitute Seidu Musah scored the only goal of the game on the 65th minute of play.

The pacy and dribbling magician found the back of the net seven minutes after entering the pitch, his first goal of the season in competitive football.

Ziko Babies FC made a late push for the equalizer with dead ball situations but goalkeeper Jalilu Abdul Bashit of Wa Power SC made sure he kept a clean sheet on his debut.

The win takes Wa Power SC to 12 points, 4 wins and 2 losses.

The We Can Boys have their eyes set on qualifying from the group, awaiting the decision of the Disciplinary committee in their protest against Ziko Babies on Match day 3.
