Wa Power SC record successive Home win in a scintillating display against Steadfast

A 2-0 convincing victory at the Malik Jabir Stadium moved them up to 2nd place on the league log after 3 matches played and 6 points in the bag.

The intent was shown early in the game with total dominance which led to the opener 9 minutes into the game with a brilliant finish from Iddrisu Abdul Nafiw, after a nice combo between him and Issahaku Wahid.

The lead was doubled exactly on the 24th minute mark with a sumptuous finish from Issahaku Wahid with his back heel, after being teed up by Hamedu Taluta from a throw in.

Issahaku Wahid nearly added a 3rd with a long range curler but the Steadfast goalkeeper had a hand to the ball and rattling the cross bar.

The story didn’t change in the second half as Wa Power SC’s dominance continued till the final whistle.

Center-back Jerry Akaminko was adjudged the standout player receiving MVP award after a magnificent show.
