Wa Power SC continues perfect start to D2L with 1-0 victory against Wa FC

The rejuvenated Division two league club played their first away league fixture at Wa Poly Park on Saturday afternoon.

The boys started on a good note and got an early lead from left-back Taluta in the fifteenth minute, after the Goalkeeper of Wa FC missed the ball in air.

Wa Power SC dominated the first 45 minutes but failed to cushion their lead, the home team Wa FC came in strong in the second stanza of the game searching for their first goal in the league but all attempts proved futile.

Coach of Wa Power SC Saeed Adinan made two changes in his starting lineup, Ernest and Maximus replaced Captain Adriano and the injured Hafeez.

Wa FC also made several changes from the squad that lost 1-0 to Ziko Babies on MatchDay 1, but a poor start to today’s game cost the Young chaps all three points.

The other game in the group between Young Heroes and Ziko Babies comes on tomorrow at the same venue at 3:00 pm.

Next for Wa Power SC is a home game against Ziko Babies, while Wa FC also host Young Heroes in their search for their first point.
