Veteran Solomon Asante Joins Indy Eleven In America

Veteran winger Solomon Asante has joined Indy Eleven in America as confirmed by the club

The two time USL Championship MVP player has joined the club with immediate effect but is expected to begin training with his new teammates in three weeks time

He joined on a free transfer after ending his four year love story with Phoenix Rising FC where he was included in the All-USL Championship First Team of the season on three occasions as well as back to back league MVP in 2019 and 2020 making him only second player to achieve such fate

The former Rising FC skipper made 113 appearances in all competitions netting 54 goals and contributing 42 assists during his time with the club

He is the only player in the USL Championship history to have contributed 40 goals and 40 assists in a regular season
