They clinched the Supporters’ Shield of the season on Sunday after coming back from two goals down to draw against New Mexico United away from home
By clinching the inaugural USL Championship season title of the season, Phoenix Rising FC now have the advantage of playing at home throughout the play-offs
Phoenix Rising Football Club has played New Mexico United three times in all competitions this season and failed to win none as both league games ended in draw and the US Open Cup match saw New Mexico United progressed on penalties
New Mexico United and Fresno FC remain the only two sides Phoenix Rising Football Club have failed to beat in 2019
Solomon Asante remains the top scorer and top assist provider in the league with 22 goals and 15 assists to his name with 37 goal involvement throughout the season standing as a record in the USL Championship
Asante has played over 2,485 minutes throughout the USL Championship this season and could still add more minutes to his name with four games remaining to end the season
