Black stars midfielder was phenomenal for New York City FC as they recorded a home win against San Jose Earthquakes in the MLS league

The midfielder came into the contest as a second half substitute to replace Ismael Tajouri-Shradi in the 61st minute of the match

San Jose Earthquakes drew first blood to open the scoring through American forward Chris Wondolowski in the 20th minute of the match before two quick goals within three minutes turned the contest in favor of New York City FC as American midfielder Keaton Parks and Romanian midfielder Alexandru Mitrita scored in the 40th and 43rd minutes respectively to earn New York City FC a hard fought victory at home

New York City FC sits second after match day 30 with 57 points. They are next at home to FC Dallas on Sunday, September 22
