Upper West Students Union of UDS- Wa Campus engages Wa School for the Deaf in a friendly
Leadership of the Upper West Students Union – UDS Wa Campus on Sunday, November 11 engaged in a friendly encounter with the Wa School for the Deaf
The game which was played at the Campus of the School of the Deaf saw the Students Union winning on the day by 2-1
The Union used the occasion to celebrate with the School on their 50th Anniversary and also to provide requisite knowledge to the students in the school
The game was used to inspire, encourage and motivate the students to study hard for the future, their society and the development of the Upper West Region and the nation as a whole
The Union as part of the occasion led by their President, Sungbaala Titus Dumbu donated assorted items to the School on the day
The President after making the donation said ” We are very grateful to be part of this special event and we are hoping to further engage with the School for more social and developmental benefits of all”
” The donation is geared towards helping and motivating the students and to encourage them to understand that disability is not inability in life” added Mr. Sungbaala Titus Dumbu
