Upper West Defensive Trio receive Black Stars call up

Head Coach of the Senior National team the Black Stars has called 32 players for camping ahead of the AFCON qualifiers next month.

The list features two Center backs and a left back from the Region. Ibrahim Imoro and Ismail Abdul Ganiyu play for Asante Kotoko, while Haruna Jamaldeen ply his trade for in form Accra Great Olympics.

Ibrahim Imoro has scored two goals for the Porcupines so far in the season with a Man of the match award, Ganiyu captained the Krobea boys a couple of games and also has a Man of the match award against Aduana Stars.

Jamaldeen has not missed a minute for the Dade boys this Champaign after thirteen games, including impressive performances in away wins at Kotoko and Hearts of Oak

The players are due to report for camp on Monday to start preparations ahead of time. Black Stars will play South Africa and São Tomé and Principe in last games of the qualifiers.
