UCL: Richmond Boakye Yiadom instrumental as Red Star Belgrade book their spot in the group stages of the competition

Forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom was instrumental for his side as they book their place in the group stages of this season’s Uefa champions league competition as their drew 1-1 at home against Swiss side Young Boys

Serbian forward Aleksa Vukanovic opened the scoring on the night for the home side on the 59th minute of the game

Boakye Yiadom was replaced three minutes after his side took the lead by Portugal international Tomane

An own goal courtesy Comoros international El Fardou Ben pulled parity for the away team with nine minutes left on the clock

Tomane was later given the marching order after earning a second yellow card on the 90th minute of the contest

After 2-2 in the first leg in Switzerland couple with the 1-1 draw at home in Serbia on the night, score aggregate was 3-3 but Red Star Belgrade progressed on the away goal rule haven scored twice away from home

They awaits their opponents for the group phrase of the competition when the draw takes place on Thursday August 29
