U23 Africa Qualifier: We have quality players to qualify against Algeria – says Yaw Yeboah
The Black Meteors captain Yaw Yeboah is optimistic of a qualifying berth against Algeria in the U23 Africa Qualifier ahead of their away clash with Algeria
The younster is sure he and his team mates will do all they can in the return fixture in Algeria as they intent to leave no stone unturned in the cagey encounter
Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side were held to a 1-1 stalemate at the Accra Sports Stadium against Algeria in the first leg of the U23 Afcon qualifiers
” We didn’t lose the match, it ended in a 1-1 draw. We can also score against them in Algiers. We still have the chance to qualify” the skipper told reporters after the match
” It’s not over yet. Ghanaians are expecting a lot from us. We have the quality to win against Algeria, everything happens in football”.
Ghana return to Algiers for the second leg on Tuesday, September 10th
Winner of the tie will book a place in year’s Caf U23 Championship to be staged in Egypt between 5th – 22nd of November
