U/W: Maiden Edition Of Ismail Abdul Ganiu BooksNBoots Tournament Gets Underway

Match Day one of the much anticipated Ismail Abdul Ganiu BooksNBoots Tournament is set to kickoff across the four designated venues with some top liners expected to keep fans awake.

The educational cum sporting event will see 10 schools culled from the Wa Municipality engaged in explosive football showdown across the Limanyiri Park, Wa Model Park, Jujeidayiri Park and the much adored Tendemba JHS Park.

Group A will kick off at the Wa Model JHS Park with Fongo EA playing guest to Nuriya JHS on Friday, October 25, 2019. The group’s other fixture will see Fongo MA heading to Jujeidayiri Park for the clash with St Andrews JHS while Adabiyat JHS stay as bye.

The match of the week undoubtedly will be the Wa Model versus Tendemba JHS at the Tendemba Park on same Friday. The last fixture for the opening week will see Limanyiri JHS hosting Catholic JHS at the Limanyiri Park.

Teams are expected to play each other in the single round robin with the top two teams heading to the Semis.

The four semi finalists will then have the chance to engage in further educational battle including Quiz and Debate.
