Tokyo 2020: Black Queens advances to next round of qualifiers following victory over Gabon in Accra

The female national team, Black Queens today progressed to the third round qualifiers of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic at the Accra Sports Stadium following a 2-0 win over their Gabonese counterparts in the second leg of the second round qualifier

The Queens came into the match with a three goal lead following victory in Gabon a week ago

A goal in each half of the match at the Accra Sports Stadium from Portia Boakye and Juliet Acheampong in the 16th and 70th minutes respectively sealed a 5-0 aggregate win for the Black Queens

Next in the third round is a clash against Cecafa ( Eastern Africans) sole representative left in the competition, Kenya later this month
