Division One League side, Wa Power Sporting Club convincingly dispatched Ghana premier league side Real Tamale United out of this season’s MTN FA Cup tournament

Resilient Wa Power Sporting Club waded through the rubble in the early stages of the encounter and made it their own contest with two resounding goals

An action packed second half saw goals from attacking duo Abdul Karimu and Mohammed Mabrouk respectively sealing victory for the Lions of the North

Wa Power Sporting Club failed to advance pass this stage of the competition last season when they were then a division two side haven lost 1-3 at home against Debibi United FC

Spearheaded by Coach John Kandumah, the side have made an improvement on their previous season’s performance in the competition

The club is into the R16 of the competition for the first time in their history and will await their next opponent when the draw is announced
