Majeed Ashimeru scored just five minutes into his Anderlecht debut after sealing a loan move from RB Salzburg this winter. Ashimeru made the move in search of regular playing time, and scored in the 67th minute against lower tier side FC Liege. Anderlecht qualified to the round of 16 after beating the opponents 2-0.
