Sweden: Ghanaian international Kingsley Sarfo’s jail cut short and deported to Ghana
Ghanaian footballer Kingsley Sarfo has been freed from prison in Sweden and deported straight to Ghana immediately after his jail term was cut short by authorities for good conduct
He was freed earlier this week and deported to Ghana as soon as possible
The footballer was jailed after he was charged with defilement
Sarfo was arrested following accusations of one case of attempted rape and two cases of rape in September 2017
He got suspended by his club side Malmo FF following the arrest but had the suspension lifted in January 2018 as they await for the legal process to be concluded
He got arrested again in the latter part of January by the Swedish police for suspection of five cases of rape
He was sentenced to two years and eight months imprisonment along with a fine of 150,000 SEK and deportation after serving the jail term in June 8th, 2018
After a year term jail served, the Ghanaian has been released following reports of good behavior conduct whiles in jail
