SuperSports Not Part of the Seven Companies that Bid for GPL Broadcast Rights – Kurt Okraku

The President of Ghana Football Association Mr. Kurt Okraku has revealed that there are seven companies that have applied for the broadcast rights of the Ghana Premier League.

And apparently SuperSports that is highly favored to win the bid for the GPL broadcast rights didn’t apply, that’s according to the FA President.

Speaking to Nathaniel Attoh on Joy fm, Kurt disclosed that South African TV giants SuperSport did not bid for the broadcast rights.

According to him, the FA will made known to the public in a few days time the media outlet that won the bid.

He also stressed on the consideration of factors such as number of cameras, match highlights and the covering of all league centers by the rights holders.
