STATS check! Fuseini Ganiu with 4 Assists and 100% win rate for Wa Power SC in D2L

The experience of Wa Power SC players this season in the Upper West Regional Division 2 League is always talked about but little do we quantify the impact on Team results.

The likes of Yakubu Nuhu, Issahaku Wahid, Dodoo, Salifu Cisse, Saeed Bushran and Fuseini Ganiu have all contributed immensely to the invincibility of the We Can Lads this season.

Attacking Left-back Fuseini Ganiu leads the assist chart at Power SC, providing for his teammates 4 times this season to pick crucial points. Ganiu has also played as a wing forward because of his attacking threat throughout his career.

Ganiu made a big difference in Power SC’s two big games in round 1 with the assist for the winner against Ziko Babies FC with barely 3 minutes to end proceedings, and also won the penalty against Biyad 77 Stars which resulted in the only goal of the game.

He has played 10 matches in the ongoing league after MatchDay 12, with Power SC winning all. Ganiu sat on the bench throughout when Power SC drew 1-1 with Busa Golden FC and also missed last week’s 2-0 victory over Malima FC.

Formerly of Techiman Eleven Wonders and Wa Rockets, a lot of experience is on him as far as Football in the Region is concerned.

Affectionately called Three ’3’, Ganiu’s experience and expertise will be expected from Power SC faithfuls as the Middle league and race for Division One status draws nearer.
