Spain: Black Queens midfielder Grace Asantewaa joins EDF Logrono in Spain

Ampem Darkoa and Black Queens midfielder Grace Asantewaa has left the country last night for Spain to begin her professional career with Spanish Primera Iberdrola side EDF Logrono

She has won the Ghana National Women League and Cup in 2016 and 2017 with Ampem Darkoa and was nominated of the Best Women’s Footballer of the Year in 2018

She was a key member of the U20 side in the World Cup in France and was phenomenal for Ghana at the 2019 WAFU Women’s tournament in Ivory Coast

Logrono begin their season at home against Rayo Vallecano on September 8th in their second season in the top-flight league in Spain
