Solomon Asante looked set to continue his impressive form last season as he ended pre-season with a goal in Phoenix Rising FC 3-2 win against MLS outfit Real Salt Lake

The skipper scored in the 39th minute of the match to give his side a 2-1 lead having come back from a goal down

The goal was his second throughout the pre-season exercise

Phoenix Rising FC will begin the regular season campaign at home against Portlandia Timbers II on March 7th as they begin the defence of the title won last season
