RTU join Bibiani GoldStars and Accra Lions as promoted Clubs to Ghana Premier League

Real Tamale United are back in the Ghana Premier League after a dramatic final day in the Division One League.
RTU went into the last day 2 points behind Bofoakwa Tano, needing a win while hoping Bofoakwa Tano fail at Berekum Arsenal.
That was exactly the story, RTU beat Unity FC 2-0 and Bofwakwa drew 0-0 with Arsenal, earning RTU a place in the Ghana Premier League for the first time in 8 years.
Both Clubs are tied on 65 points with RTU having a better head to head over Bofwakwa Tano FC after drawing them in Sunyani, before winning the return fixture 1-0 at home.
