Rock Solid Center-back Haq Ja-afari excels in Upper West Division Two League

The enterprising Center-Half showed glimpses of becoming a Super star in the near future as he marshaled the back line for Wa Yaasin Juniors FC in the just ended Division Two Middle League.

Haq played five (5) games in the middle league that ended on Wednesday with a playoff tie that Wa Yaasin Juniors FC beat Wa United 1-0 to clinch promotion to Division One League 2021/2022 season and win the coveted Trophy.

The 16-year old scored the first goal of the middle league for Wa Yaasin Juniors FC on MatchDay 1 after coming on as a substitute against Kpujinang FC, he got the equalizer as the game ended 1-1.

Haq Ja-afari improved on his stellar performance throughout the competition and Wa Yaasin Juniors FC never conceded a goal with the young chap on the field of Play.

He missed the 3-1 win against Happy Stars FC on MatchDay four (4) due to suspension but came back strongly in the last two fixtures to ensure they win both 1-0 against fellow favorites Sombo Freedom Stars and Wa United respectively.

His aerial ability and timely interceptions was the nightmare of strikers in the competition, tackling and making blocks in danger areas ensured Wa Yaasin Juniors FC kept four (4) clean sheets in all the games Haq started, the highest in the competition.

Haq also plays very well with his feet and mostly launches the attack for his Team with long accurate balls, he is a proper modern day ball playing Centre-back and can play in a 3-back system of Coach Iddrisu Polibu ‘Asprilla’.

He also plays very well in defensive or central midfield and on the right side of defense with the ability of his speed and stamina.

Watch out for Him in the Division One League 2021/2022 season for Wa Yaasin Juniors FC in Zone 1.
