Black Stars goalkeeper, Richard Ofori missed out on cup glory with his side, Maritzburg United as they lost 1-2 in the TKO 2019 Cup final against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday evening

Maritzburg United failed to capitalised on their first half lead as they slip to defeat in the second half of the match to narrowly missed out on the trophy

South African forward Judas Moseamedi opened the scoring with five minutes to end the first half for Maritzburg United before Sundowns fought back in the second half to score twice through a brace from Uruguayan striker Mauricio Affonso in the 54th and 74th minutes of the match to seal victory for his side

The Ghanaian was at fault for his side’s first goal conceded after failing to get hold of the ball before the Uruguayan nod home the equalizer
