The midfielder played an hour of the contest before he was replaced in the encounter as he netted his side’s only goal of the match in the 22nd minute

Compatriot Samuel Obeng came on later in the 79th minute of the match for Real Oviedo to help propel them to victory

Richard Boateng has now scored three times with an assist in fifteen matches so far in the season

Alcorcon sits 10th on the table after 19 matches with 25 points while Real Oviedo continue their resurgence out of the drop zone as they sit 15th on the table after 19 league matches with 21 points
