RFA Elections: The race to lead Upper West Region heats up as all three aspirants are clear to contest
Following a successful navigation through the vetting process ahead of the upcoming Regional Football Association elections, all three candidates from the region has been cleared to contest for the prestigious position after the vetting committee released the list of qualified candidates on Friday, October 4
Despite all three heading to the vetting with petitions and protests against them, the trio have all been cleared of any wrong doing and are all eligible to contest for the regional chairmanship
Incumbent Alhaji Daudi Saadugu Yahaya Biyad will be going head to head against his one time vice chairman of the Football Association Dajan Naa Hamidu Seidu Bomson who is a deputy national Referee Association of Ghana instructor and astute football administrator Alhaji Moro Ahmed Baba Pele
With all trio cleared now to contest it is now time for all to hit the ground running with their campaign and manifestos so as to convince the delegates as they seek to lead the region in the football fraternity two weeks from today
The question now is who lead the region?
Will incumbent Alhaji Yahaya Biyad be maintained or will he be overthrown by either Seidu Bomson Jnr or Baba Pele
It remains to be seen as 18th October 2019 is just at the corner
