The Black Stars of Ghana returned to the training ground barely 24 hours after their resounding 2-0 victory over the Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Thursday in the opening round of matches in the on-going Afcon 2021 Qualifiers
The Black Stars trained on the newly constructed astro turf in Madina, Accra ahead of their second game of the Qualifiers against Sao Tome and Principe on Monday, November 18
Head coach James Kwesi Appiah and his team are seeking to make it two out of two wins in a row after victory over South Africa in the opening game
The training saw dignitaries such as Minister for Inner Cities and Zongo Development, Hon. Dr. Mustapha Abdul Hamid, MP for Madina Hon. Boniface Abubakar Sadique and some high ranking members of the Madina Community all gracing the training session to offer support to the Black Stars
