PHOTOS: Black Stars arrive safely at Cape Coast to continue preparations ahead of clash against South Africa

The Black Stars of Ghana has arrived safely at Cape Coast ahead of their encounter against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Thursday, November 14 in the upcoming Afcon 2021 Qualifier

The team which began the journey from the nation’s capital, Accra made stopovers at Winneba and Mankessim respectively were they had various interactions with fans before making a stop at their final destination in Cape Coast

The team has been boosted by the addition of eight more players after they trained on Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium with thirteen players

As part of activities lined up for the team upon arrival, the Football Association President, Mr Kurt Okraku and other Exco members led the technical team and playing body of the Black Stars to pay courtesy call on Oguaaman Hene Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, to seek for his support as well as the support of the people of Cape Coast ahead of the encounter against South Africa

The team will train this evening at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as they intensify their preparations for the game on Thursday

Head coach James Kwesi Appiah his optimistic that, winger Christopher Antwi-Adjei who is reported to have withdrawn from the team due to issues with his passport acquisition might join them later in Cape Coast as they are exploring all ways and means to make it possible for the teenage sensation

Injured Mohammed Salisu is also believed to have been monitored closely by his club side Valladolid and might as well be given the greenlight to join the Black Stars camp
