PHOBIA : Accra Hearts of Oak to Cut Sod For Pobiman Project Today

Accra Hearts of Oak turned 108 years today, Monday 11 November 2019. The ‘club of the century’ was founded on November 11, 1911.

As part of their birthday celebrations the premier league giants have announced that they will mark the milestone with a sod-cutting ceremony of the Pobiman Academy Project.

Turkish construction firm Prefabex Yapi Teknolojileri San Ve Tic Ltd won the contract for the construction of the Pobiman Academy project.

The Pobiman Project will house a staff residence, a senior housing unit, gym training centres (pitches), laundry, swimming pool, lockers, toilet facilities, kitchen, and dining hall.

The site has been acquired more than a decade ago and is where the club currently train and play most of their friendly matches.
