Ghanaian international Osei Barnes endured a tough afternoon for Academica as he got sent off in their goalless stalemate against Mafra in the Portuguese Segunda league on Saturday

The 25 year old forward was dismissed for a second yellow card in the 64th minute of the match having received his first caution as early as the eighth minute of the encounter

The dismissal is his second of the second in as many games played for club this season netting twice as well throughout the campaign

Academica sits 5th on the league log after 21 matches with 32 points
