New ownership, Rebranded, new Logo and renamed as Wa Allstars SC now Legon City FC ahead of the 2019/20 season
The new ownership and management of Wa All Stars SC has rebranded and named the club as Legon City Football Club following a complete take over of the former Ghana premier league winners ahead of the new football season in the country
The take over ended an eleven year stay of the 2016 Ghana Premier league champions in the Upper West Region and have now gone on to change the name and the logo of the club as part of their rebranding process ahead of the 2019/20 season
The take over of the club from former Ghana Football Association President, Mr. Kwasi Nyantakyi, might the club was moved from the Upper West Region for the first time since since the club gain promotion to top-flight football in March 2007 by new management
The begin their season away from home at the Dansoman, Carl Reindoff Park against Liberty Professionals on Sunday, December 29
