MTN FA CUP: A brace from Alipio Ranius seals a comfortable win for Wa Suntaa SC against Wa Yaasin Jnrs

Wa Suntaa SC claimed the bragging rights over city rivals Wa Yaasin Jnrs with a comfortable 2-1 win in the round of 64 of the on-going Mtn FA Cup competition

The division one side dominated proceedings from start to finish as they took a two goal lead into the break thanks to a scintillating brace from winger Alipio Ranius in the 6th and 16th minutes of the match

The lower tier side into the second half much more composed as they pulled a goal back six minutes into the second half of the encounter through forward Daud Mubashir

Alipio Ranius failed to claim the match day ball as his second half effort was parried onto the post from the opposing goalkeeper

Wa Yaasin Jnrs chased the equalizer as they threw numerous efforts at the home side but failed to convert any of such chances

Victory sees Wa Suntaa SC advance to the round of 32 of the competition
