Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids has terminated the contract of Ghanaian defender Kofi Opare ahead of the upcoming new season in America
Following a poor showing with the club over the season making only three appearances throughout the season, both the player and club agreed mutually to terminate his contract to allow him seek for other options elsewhere
The Ashanti Mampong born is now a free agent and free to join any club of his choice following his release from the Major League Soccer club
Kofi Opare has had stints with other Major League Soccer clubs including LA Galaxy and D.C United before joining Colorado Rapids
