Match Winner Ibrahim Imoro Expresses Relieve Following Victory Over Dreams FC

Left-back Ibrahim Imoro has expressed delight in powering Asante Kotoko to victory away from home against Dreams FC on Sunday at the Theatre of Dreams

The former Karela United defender scored a worldie in the 20th minute of the game to hand the Porcupine Warriors victory over Dreams FC

“I am happy to have helped the team record the win and that’s the most important thing so us at the moment” he said

“We needed this victory dearly considering the circumstances we found ourselves in so far this season in the top flight league” he added

Ibrahim Imoro has been ever present for Asante Kotoko since the start of the new football season playing all games for the club expect one in which he was left on the bench

“Is been an excellent start to the season for me and am hoping to keep putting in brilliant performances from now till the end of the season and hopeful chip in some few goals and grab assists as well”

On the goal he scored on the day, the left-back said “It wasn’t like I was trying my luck or something like that but it is something I have been practicing at the training ground and it paid off today for me and the team as well ”

Next of the Porcupine Warriors is a Caf Champions League encounter against Al Hilal Club

” We are taking it game after game and right after the Dreams FC encounter our attention has been shifted to the game on Wednesday and hopeful we can grind out the needed results at home” he concluded

Asante Kotoko has now won two out of their five league games so far this season
