Ghanaian international Majeed Waris registered a vital assist for Strasbourg in their 1-1 stalemate away from home against Lyon in the French top-flight league

The centre forward lasted 82 minutes on the pitch before he was replaced as his assist helped his side earn a vital point

Lyon took the lead through Burkinabe Bernard Traore in the 21st minute of the match before Waris set-up Zohi to score the equalizer three minutes before the break

Majeed Waris has now scored twice and an assist in six matches since joining the French top-flight side in January

Strasbourg sits 7th on the table after 25 matches with 37 points
