Young Ghanaian international Kwame Poku has joined Skybet Championship side Peterborough United ahead of the new football season

The 19 year old joined the club on a long term contract from Colchester United FC for an undisclosed fee

Kwame Poku has made 62 appearances for Colchester United FC during his stints with the club scoring 5 goals in the process for the side

The youngster has joined up with his new teammates ahead of the new championship season

Kwame Poku was called up to the senior national team for the first time in March 2021 for the Black Stars’ Afcon qualifier games against South Africa and São Tomé and Principe

He made his first appearance after coming on for Kudus Mohammed in Ghana’s 3-1 victory over São Tomé and Principe at the Accra Sports Stadium
