Ghanaian forward Kwabena Owusu made a cameo appearance for Qarabag in their 2-1 victory against Sheriff in the second round qualifier of the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday

The attacker came on as a substitute in the 89th minute of the match to help his side advance to the preliminary round of the uefa champions league

The Azerbaijan champions earned a comfortable win against their Moldavian counterparts who were reduced to ten men after Cameroonian attacker Bertrand Abang was sent off in the 34th minute of the match

Ghanaian forward Richard Gadze also featured for Sheriff on the night

Kwabena Owusu is participating in the competition for the first time and is now in the preliminary stages of the competition
