Kuwait: Ghanaian defender Rashid Sumaila impressive as Al-Qadsia defeat Al-Arabi Kuwait in the Kuwait league

Former Asante Kotoko defender Rashid Sumaila continued his impressive start to the new season with another convincing performance at the back for Al-Qadsia in their 2-0 comfortable win against arch rivals Al-Arabi Kuwait in the top-flight league

The tough tackling defender was at his usual best as he helped his side to a win as well as a clean sheet with commanding displays to the admiration of the home crowd

Al-Qadsia went into the break with a one goal lead after scoring in the 34th minute of the match before adding the second in the 67th minute of the game

The win is the club’s second successive win after two games into the new Kuwaiti top-flight league

Al-Qadsia remains top of the table with six points out of two wins. They are next on the road against Al-Sahel on Tuesday, October 1
