Ghanaian defender Kennedy Kofi Boateng made a return to action for SV Ried in their comfortable 3-1 away victory against Swarovski Tirol in the Austrian top flight league on Sunday

The former West African Football Academy centre-back made his first appearance since sustaining a muscular injury which has kept him out for over months

He lasted the full duration of the match unscathed for SV Ried as they thrashed their opponents away from home

The game was his fifth of the season for his side so far this season since their promotion to the Austrian Bundesliga this season

SV Ried sit 9th on the league table after 12 league games with 13 points
