Kade MP donates GHC 5,000 to DOL new Boys Kwaebibirem United, promises Pitch upgrade and New AstroTurf

The Member of Parliament for Kade Constituency, Hon. Alexander Kwadwo Agyare has donated GH₵ 5,000 to Asuom based Division 1 football Club, Kwaebibirem United FC on Tuesday, 12th October, 2021 after a successful qualification to Division one.

Speaking to Asuom News’ Nana Yaw Buckman, Hon. Alexander Kwadwo Agyare said, the donation is to support the club for running its day-to-day activities.

“Together with my Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Seth Antwi Boasiako, we will help bring back the Kwaebibirem United that played in the Premier league for 2 seasons in the country. The current state of Asec park which is the play venue for the team is below standard for division one matches to be played, so we shall start working on the inner perimeter” he added.

In a conversation with the management team, Hon Alexander assured them of lobbying for one Astro turf to be built in Asuom as the Town now has Division one football Club.

After the donation, the playing body, technical team, management and executive members of Kwaebibirem United FC Supporters Union dined with the MP at his residence.

Present at this memorable experience were, Mr Justice Amponsah, NPP Kade Constituency Chairman, Mr Kofi Abrefa Busia, NPP Kade Constituency Youth Organizer and some NPP Kade Constituency polling station executives.
